How To Drive Sales On Motom

You already know how to add products to your Motom profile, so now’s the time to optimize your experience and earn more!

Keep your Motom profile up to date by reposting your social content immediately after you post.

You never know when something is going to go viral overnight. Make sure you’re not missing out on that money if a product in one of your posts starts picking up traction.

Train your followers to shop your Motom when they see a product they want.

Use Motom as your IG/TT link in bio OR add to your link hub (i.e. linktr.ee/hoo.be). If you’re using a link hub, make sure the link button copy is clear, i.e. "Shop my looks on Motom," "Outfit links on Motom,” “Shop my beauty favorites,” etc.

Add “Outfit links ↓’ to your Instagram and TikTok bios so your audience knows that you don’t gatekeep.

Is something your followers love on sale? Let your audience know and share an affiliate shortlink to your link hub so your audience can buy the product with a discount.

Add "Everything linked in my bio” and “#ShopMyMotom” to your post captions or pinned comments. Get creative with the spelling of “link” and “bio” to decrease your chances of getting shadowbanned.

Respond to comments about products by directing them to your link in bio (instead of listing out the products with @brand mentions — you won’t earn when they Google that product name + the brand name!).

Create TikToks or Instagrams guiding your followers through your Motom profile. It may qualify for Motom's TikTok Boost program, so send us your boost code if interested.

When you notice engagement spiking on your social posts, seize the opportunity.

When a post of yours is going viral, make sure all the products are tagged on your Motom ASAP (and pin your repost to the top of your Motom profile).

Add Motom affiliate shortlinks to your link hub when lots of people are asking about the same product in your comments. As an example, if everyone is asking, “Where’d you get those jeans?”, make the button say, “High-waisted PacSun jeans.” For more info on using and generating shortlinks, click here.

If there are multiple products in your viral social post, you can link directly to the shoppable post on Motom in your link hub or link in bio. For example, “Shop my recent GRWM” or “Shop my Urban Outfitters Haul.”
